Friends - The Runaway

This fan fiction was one of the first ones I have ever read. It talks about Monica and Ross's Goddaughter coming to New York for a visit after running away from home and not feeling so great. She arrives at the apartment and meets Rachel there who was surprised to see her; after everyone arrives, they all joke around about little things about each other, remember stories about them from the past and have a good time all together. I thought it was very original and relevant to the episodes airing during that season. I really enjoyed reading this and I believe the writer was clear and precise about the subject and the show;keeping a short length and involving all the characters.

I thought it would have been better to have it a bit longer as it left me wanting more but I guess that is the normal reaction when the story makes sense right?. It could have had a bit more of Phoebe who is a very funny character and it would fit right in the story. Also, it made Rachel look a bit more stubborn that she normally is, even though she can be too much at times, but maybe a little less doubting and hesitation that could have been replaced with a more warm welcome and confirmation from Monica or Ross via the phone, in her room while Patricia was settling in the apartment as she was already going through a rough time.


Revenge - The beginning of a new end??

This is about the disappointment in the way the revelation of some vital information in the end of the season was executed. Emily and Nolan were checking some video tapes Nolan had in his laptop, as usual he always have some back up!;they find lies, secrets and some shocking news, Emily's mother is still alive! Which means, Emily and Nolan's adventures will start once again, leaving the Hamptons full of lies, betrayal and questions.

So this fan fiction is very similar to the actual ending of the season, which means it lacks a bit of imagination but at the same time the author wanted to keep it short and simple which is okay for this episode. I thought it could have a bit less obvious things for example Nolan backing up the data that shows exactly what they wanted to see; hence the reason why the author was a bit disappointed with the end of the season. Overall I gave this fan fiction a good rate.



Dawson's Creek - Maybe he isn't so bad

This fan fiction is about Pacey, who is a little bit of a trouble maker usually, does the unexpected and visits Joey at her home as she is not feeling so good health wise. This really makes everyone questions the reason to why Pacey would visit Joey and having Dawson leave to go and play when he is the sweet one. Dawson thought it was contagious so he decided to leave and go play.

I thought this fan fiction was very short and did not really make a lot of sense and at the end it talks about Joey having her first kiss but it never mentioned anything about that earlier so I was a bit lost. I liked the idea that the author wanted to express but I think it was lacking a bit of imagination and relevancy to the story.


Awkward - She said yes

This is about going to Matty's head and dreams as he gets ready for winter formal, chases Jenna and finds her kissing Jake crushing all his dreams to be with her. He was too late and had waited too long pretending not to like her nor be with her, he knew he was wrong and wanted to make it right but he was too late.

I thought it was very original as it was different to the original finale. It is a little peek in a way of the next season as Jenna still has feelings for Matty because he was her first and we might see them together in the next season, who knows. This author, although was a bit short, had a clear idea of what most of us wanted to see at the end of the season 1, Matty and Jenna together; but of course it was all just a dream.


Desperate Housewives - Naughty Dreams

Fan fiction about Bree having naughty dreams with the man she really desires. One very well thought dream about Bree and Karl who nobody ever thought would be Bree's dream man. Knowing Bree. she would never take a man away from her best friend, she has morals and good manners, so this was very surprising but genius at the same time. I really like it and enjoy reading the whole thing.

I would have like it to be a bit longer and maybe instead of a dream, it would have been a good idea to make it reality and a secret affair, but the author did an amazing job with every detail in the story.
